These two villages have been selected following months of extensive research conducted on the delivery of education in the country’s rural areas.

The tutoring lessons, combining technology and classroom-based learning, will be conducted through weekly sessions of 6-8 hours. It will also focus on offering foundational learning to students and strengthening their core concepts in elementary subjects. In addition, Tutorpreneurs will also assist teachers who are already teaching in the schools to adopt newer teaching methods and tools for their lessons. Genext Students eventually envisions adopting more such villages in and around the city and bringing interactive learning to their schools.

Speaking on the campaign, Ali AsgarKagzi, Co-founder, Genext Students said, “Our mission through the ‘Freedom to Shine’ campaign is to reach out to these highly under-served rural areas of the country. Technology-only solutions will not help solve the problems here. What is needed is a blended approach combining technology and in-person support. Our ‘Tutorpreneurs’ will not only empower the students in these schools but will also train the local teachers with the latest educational tools which will help them access information easily and make learning more interactive for children.”
