Prachi Raturi Misra

prachi_raturi_misra.jpgA Delhi University Journalism (Hons.) Graduate and alumnus of Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie., Prachi Raturi Misra has been in journalism for 20 years. She has written for media houses like Hindustan Times, The Times of India, The Financial Express, Mail Today, Femina, Vogue, Outlook Traveller, Asia Spa etc. She currently writes as the correspondent for The Times of India from Mussoorie.

She has also authored three books. Her first book was a coffee table book for the Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in the Presidential Estate, which was released by the President. Her second book I did it! Exceptional stories of people who made it large was published by the Times Group Books (Bennett Coleman and Co). Also, in the offing is its second volume, slated for a release shortly.

Commissioned by ICIMOD, Prachi is one of the 12 women journalists from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal to research on a book on adaptation practices along major rivers due to climate change, which is scheduled for release later this year.
